About

I am just a guy with some things to write about. My areas of interest range from politics to engineering and technology, with a reluctantly strong interest in health care. I say reluctant because my interest is spurred by the fact that I have to fight so many battles with my health insurance company.

The name of this blog – Scott’s Reflections – has a dual meaning. Beyond the more obvious meaning, I have spent many years of my career developing techniques to remove echo from telephone systems. Echo is caused by a “reflection” of a sound or an electrical signal.
As a part owner of a small technology firm, I should add the following disclaimer: The opinions that I express on this blog are not the opinions of my company, Adaptive Digital Technologies. These opinions should in no way reflect upon Adaptive Digital Technologies.

It sure was. I wasn’t sure what to expect from an unofficial 30 year reunion, but it turned out great.
